Absolute beginners are always welcome to my calligraphy classes. 

I am a relaxed friendly tutor and encourage everyone to work at their own pace. I can provide a starter kit and different broad edge nib hands are taught. I also teach pointed pen hands such as Copperplate. Projects are suggested or learners can decide on their own projects - including illumination.

When : Every Wednesday during term time

Time : 10 - 12pm

Cost: £10 per session pre paid for the term. Refreshments included (the brownies are getting their own reputation!)

Where: Uckfield Scout Hall, Rocks Park Road, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 2AS.

I also run occasional Saturday workshops - folk attending my calligraphy classes are offered first refusal as numbers are limited.
